A copy of Adoption Pros license is available upon request to the agency’s clients.
Any person who believes or suspects that Adoption Pros is in violation of any Michigan Licensing Rules has the right to report such violations.
Any person having reasonable cause to believe that a child being served by the agency has been or is being subjected to any form of child abuse or neglect or exploitation by any person, whether an employee of the agency or not, is obligated by law to report such allegations. The national Child Abuse Hotline is 1-800-422-4453. Such reports may be made anonymously.
Adoption Pros does not discriminate on the basis of sex, age, race, national origin, religion, disability, marital or employment status, though such factors may be considered in determining the suitability of prospective adoptive families for a child placement, pursuant to legal and ethical child-placement standard, as they pertain to the best interests of the child being placed.
Adoption Pros has the right to decline Applications.
Adoption Pros has the right to terminate its relationship with clients for cause, including the client’s inappropriate behavior, misconduct, verbal abuse, misrepresentation of the Agency, and not abiding by the Agency’s instructions and protocols necessary for the Agency to complete intended adoptions. Adoption Pros expects clients to act in a respectful, non-threatening manner.
Adoption Pros clients have the right to terminate their relationship with the Agency at any time.
Adoption Pros clients have the right to use Adoption Pros grievance procedures.
Adoption Pros has the right to charge professional fees for the services provided. Clients are responsible for paying the professional fees to the Agency in a timely manner according to the signed agreement.
Adoption Pros clients have the right to receive a refund according the Agency’s Refund Policy
Adoption Pros has the right to edit/change/modify the Agency’s policies, procedures, and published fees.
Adoption Pros clients have the right to decline a child, referred to them by the foreign government. If it happens, the clients may qualify for another referral according to the specific foreign policies.
Adoption Pros clients have the right to appeal the actions and decisions of the Agency.
Adoption Pros clients are responsible for providing honest information.
